•    Q1: After the sign-up process, do I need to wait for any approval?

A1: No, there are no approvals needed. Once signed up the account, you can sign in to STEP with your Corppass and start with your management directly.

•    Q2: Do we need to give all employees the Corppass access for this portal, if they want to view the courses inside the portal as an employee/learner, not the admin?

A2: Employees can use their Singpass to register for a student account, and then browse or register for courses in the student portal. They do not need to access the company portal via Corppass.

•    Q3: Will our company finance staff be able to access this business account as well to process invoices?

A3: If the finance user in your company is accorded user rights under your Corppass account, they can view, make payment and download invoices in STEP company portal.

•    Q4: Without signing into the portal, just from the general STEP website, I am unable to find some courses of interest.

A4: The STEP Course catalogue (from learners’ portal view) only lists courses offered to the public. Customised courses for corporates are not available on this course catalogue, but rather, reflected in the company portal catalogue.

•    Q5: If our employees sign in with Singpass, how will the portal know that this employee is under our company?

A5: The STEP portal associates employees learning accounts with corporate sponsored courses through the unique application link generated in company portal. For more information on the link generation, refer to Sponsor and generate a public/corporate course application link.

•    Q6: Is this portal strictly for short-term course or CPD (Continuing Professional Development) course sign ups only? Or can we sign up our staff for long term courses (e.g., diploma, advanced diploma, specialist diploma, etc)?

A6: All course types are supported on the portal.
