To sign up for an account, click Sign in in the upper-right corner of the homepage, and then complete the following steps:
1. Click Company on the Sign in page.
2. On the company portal sign-in page, click Sign in with Corppass. You will be redirected to the Singpass sign-in page to sign in as business user.
*Note: To start using STEP, you need to get your company’s Corppass ready and link it to the STEP Corppass e-Service. Refer to Appendix – A guide for Corppass administrators to complete the setup or explore the Corppass user guides for more information.
3. Scan the QR code with the Singpass app or use your Singpass password to sign up to the company portal with your Singpass business account. You will be redirected to the Complete your company profile page.
4. Click Retrieve company information to go to the Corppass login page to retrieve your company particulars.
5. On the Corppass login page, select a user to retrieve the information from Myinfo business. On the Myinfo business authentication page, click I agree to start retrieving your company information.
After the retrieval ends, fill in the Primary contact information and Primary billing contact information.
6. Click Submit to submit the information and complete the sign-up. After the submission, the company information cannot be updated. However, you can update the Primary contact information and Primary billing contact information in My profile after the sign-in.
7. Click Go back to course catalogue to view the courses and manage your applications.
• Q1: I am the staff of a company that is not an existing system client. Do I need to sign up for a new account?
A1: If you need to register your trainees for courses but your company is not an existing client in the system, you can sign up for a company account using your Corppass. Ensure that you sign in to STEP via the company portal.
If you are not the company Corppass administrator (admin), we suggest that you check with your company’s Corppass administrator (admin) first before signing up for the account.
If you do not know who the company Corppass administrator (admin) is, you can get more information with the following methods:
o If you are a NRIC/FIN user, visit www.corppass.gov.sg. You can find the Corppass admin via Services > Find your Corppass Admin.
o If you are a foreign ID user, fill up the form below and email support@corppass.gov.sg. Upon receiving the email, the Corppass support can forward the request to the Corppass admin to contact you.
• Q2: I am the staff of a company that is an existing course provider client. Do I need to sign up for an account for the new system?
A2: For existing company partners, contact your company’s Corppass administrator (admin) to request for a login account.
When the account is created, you will receive an email with a link for you to sign in and authenticate the account with Corppass and Singpass.
Subsequently, you will be able to sign in with your Corppass.
• Q3: I am the company Corppass administrator (admin). What should I do for my colleagues who need to register the trainees for courses?
A3: You will need to assign the Polite Common Identity System – CP e-service under the REPUBLIC POLYTECH NIC organisation in the Corppass portal to the staff account. This is a setup required before account holders can access and utilise the assigned e-service. Administrators will be able to create additional corporate accounts for their colleagues.

• Q4: I have contacted my company administrator and have received an email informing me to link my Corppass. How should I proceed?
A4: Click the link provided in the email to navigate to the sign-in page.
After signing in with the provided username and password, you can link your Corppass to the account in the Singpass authentication window. Once authenticated, you can sign in to the online registration portal by clicking Sign in with Corppass subsequently.
• Q5: I am encountering the error message “You cannot select Corppass accounts that are suspended, or unauthorized. Please contact your Corppass administrator.” when I sign up for Corppass in the registration portal.
A5: Contact your company Corppass administrator (admin) to assign the required e-service in the Corppass portal to your account. This is the setup required before account holders can access and utilise the assigned e-service.
